In its inaugural year, Firex India 2008 was hailed an unprecedented success, attracting more than 9000 fire and security professionals. The event attracted the attention of Mrs. Sheila Dikshit, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi who attended the inaugural day of the event when it took place during October 16-18, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. She said: “The events are all the more important considering the alarming security situation the nation is facing today”. She further added that the issues discussed and points deliberated at the event will be invaluable for the government, industry and fire and security professionals.
Firex India 2009 will take place between 29-31 October at the Pragati Maidan, alongside co-located shows IFSEC India 2009 and the launch of Internal Security India.
Firex India, IFSEC India and Internal Security India is supported by the Fire and Safety Association of India (FSAI), Asian Professional Security Association (APSA), India Chapter and certified by the US Commercial Services.
