FIREX & IFSEC India 2008 Hailed an Unprecedented Success
FIREX & IFSEC India 2008 has been hailed an unprecedented success by its organizers, exhibitors and visitors alike. With a footfall of 9150 visitors, a 15% increase on 2007 figures, Firex India 2008 was the largest ever fire show to be held in India.
The event received an overwhelming response from India and abroad with over 200 exhibitors from 20 countries occupying a gross area of 15000 sq mtrs. The organizers have confirmed that over 60% of space has already been booked for 2009. The event also attracted the attention of Mrs. Sheila Dikshit, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi who attended the inaugural day of the event when it took place during October 16-18, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. She said: “The events are all the more important considering the alarming security situation the nation is facing today”. She further added that the issues discussed and points deliberated at the event should come in handy for the government, industry and people at large.
FIREX India 2008 supported by Fire and Safety Association of India (FSAI) and Asian Professional Security Association (APSA) and endorsed by the Council of Architecture & ISHRAE. Its foundation partners are G4S Security services as principal partner, Alba Urmet, HID, Honeywell, Intelligent Traffic Solutions, Nitin, Siemens, Tyco and Zicom.
